Ferne has been working a unique sort of magic in real estate for the past 25 years; she has that gift of finding the perfect home for a client, or finding the perfect buyer for a listed home.

Surprisingly enough, she chalks this up, at least partially, to her first career as a paediatric nurse and nursing teacher.  "I know that nursing and real estate, to the untrained eye, don't look like they have very much in common, but in fact they do.  They both involve taking care of people during a very stressful process and helping them figure out what they need and how to get it," she says.  Its that roll up your sleeves, no job is too difficult attitude that is Ferne's signature move.

She wanted to keep the good stuff from her past career.  It's the importance she places on "honesty, integrity and attention to detail: that sets her head and shoulders above the competition.  She is also a born and experienced teacher:  "I am happiest when my clients learn the business of real estate from me," she says, and when they can tell ME how much a house should 'go for'. then I know I have done my job well!"
