Dufferin Grove
Welcome to Dufferin Grove
This hip downtown neighbourhood is equal parts downtown hustle and bustle, and residential calm, making it one of the best Toronto has to offer.
The Basics
On the eastern edge of this neighbourhood sits Dufferin Grove Park, the area’s namesake, which serves as the anchor for this area. Extending north to Bloor, east to Ossington, and south to Dundas Street West, this neighbourhood encompasses a little bit of everything in downtown Toronto.
The Accessibility
Thanks to the amount of surface area it covers, from north to south, area residents can access streetcar routes on both Dundas and College, as well as bus routes which run down Ossington and Dufferin. The Dufferin and Ossington subway stations are just a short walk away.
The Local Homes
Families love Dufferin Grove, and the homes here are a healthy mix of Victorian, Edwardian, and English cottage-style designs. While most homes are semi-detached, you can find detached homes interspersed throughout.
The Lifestyle
You can find a little taste of everything in Dufferin Grove. The Portuguese influences of Dundas West, Toronto’s Little Italy along College, as well as Dufferin Grove Park with its green space, courts, and community centre. There’s a lot going on in Dufferin Grove – and families will love the amount of easily-accessible amenities right outside their front door.
