The Basics
To the west of the Highway 404, north of the 407, and with local highways completing the western and northern sections, Richmond Hill is an expansive neighbourhood which provides plenty of opportunity for potential home buyers.
The Accessibility
Given its relationship to both the 404 and the 407, this is an easy place for commuters to hitch a ride to the downtown core. At the same time, the Richmond Hill GO Station plays a vital role in shuttling workers into the core – with easy access to Union Station in the morning and evenings.
The Local Homes
Thanks in part to its size, Richmond Hill has the luxury of playing host to a variety of housing types and styles. Given the room, though, you’re most likely to find large, detached homes. At the same time, there is a growing amount of townhomes, condominiums, and new communities being developed almost every day.
The Lifestyle
One of the defining features of life in Richmond Hill is the amount of green space that is on offer. Not only do you have access to a number of golf courses, there are also loads of parks, sports complexes, and even beautiful Mill Pond. At the same time, the commercial areas along Yonge Street offer many of the creature comforts that suburbanites crave – from shopping to dining, and everything in between.
