A completely redeveloped area of the city – Toronto’s waterfront is a stunning example of the city reinvesting in one of our most beautiful natural wonders: Lake Ontario.

The Basics

Toronto’s waterfront consists of a handful of neighbourhoods including: the Distillery District, St. Lawrence, Harbourfront, and even parts of King West. This is an area that has grown substantially over the past decade and is showing little sign of slowing down.

The Accessibility

The waterfront can essentially be understood as the areas both north and south of the Gardiner Expressway. That means that area residents can access both the highway and Lake Shore Boulevard. It’s convenient to get around, with the inclusion of the harbourfront streetcar (which runs directly into both the Toronto Harbourfront and Union Station).

The Local Homes

Young professionals and families love this area because of the new condominiums and projects cropping up every single day. The development here is constantly evolving, making it a great space for investors, too.

The Lifestyle

Living right by the water has it perks – not only do you have the convenience of downtown living, but the peace and quiet of Lake Ontario. You can take the ferry to the Toronto Islands, spend a day walking the cobblestone streets of the Distillery District, or catch a show on King West. It’s the height of downtown living in the heart of the city.
